Music has been my lifelong passion. I've had the joy of sharing that passion with students of all levels. My teaching combines technical mastery with creative exploration, empowering students to find their own musical voice. I am a professional musician with over 40 years’ experience as well as being a music instructor for over 35 years. This includes being an applied professor for Guitar and bass as well a director/arranger for modern music and contemporary jazz ensembles at Stephen F. Austin State University. I received my formal education from the prestigious University of North Texas where I obtained my bachelor’s in jazz studies performance and my Masters in Jazz studies Arranging/Composition. I currently teach and perform all genres of music including jazz and classical events in and around the DFW area regularly for several performance companies. I also have been a writer and composer of my own original music for many years. I became certified as a protools engineer in 2008 and currently track, mix, and master my own original music as well as arrange for other artists. ## Cancellation policy

- Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before a lesson. The coach charges no fee for a late cancellation or a no-show.
