Marcelo Trindade
Soccer Coach in Beaverton, Oregon
I have been ranked Number 1 Soccer Private Coach in USA. Former Pro soccer player from Brazil. I can take you to the next level. Learn how to be a skillful player. Giving you ball control and game vision. I was born and raised in Brazil, where soccer has always been a central part of my life. I played at both the college and professional levels in Brazil before moving to the United States in 2003, shortly after earning my degree in Economics from the Federal University of Viçosa. Since then, I’ve been living and coaching in the U.S. for over 20 years. I became a USSF-certified referee and coach in 2005 and have dedicated myself to training athletes of all ages and backgrounds ever since. My coaching experience ranges from working with high-level athletes to individuals looking to improve their fitness and well-being. I have a strong passion for private coaching because it allows for focused attention, customized feedback, and a deeper understanding of technique. Unlike group settings, private sessions ensure that each client receives full attention, leading to faster progress and a more meaningful experience. My goal is to empower clients to take control of their fitness journey by combining expert guidance with practical tools. I believe in blending light gym-based strength training with high-intensity indoor or outdoor workouts to create balanced, effective programs that boost performance, health, and confidence.

We would love to take more but between club/school soccer practices and games it becomes difficult. My sons technique has improved tremendously. At a recent tryout for a premier club team, the coaches said that technically my son has all skills needed for his age group and that he is up there with the best players. I give full credit to Marcello for this. Now my son needs to work more on his fitness. Marcello met us at a gym and showed what equipment is best to avoid injuries and stay fit from soccer point of view. As a parent I very highly recommend Marcello as a coach!! We wish we could have started our son at a much earlier age with him.”

Coach Marcelo has done an amazing job coaching my youth athlete. He has consistently provided coaching content that was relevant and age appropriate for a U11 player. The skills he has gained has make our player more successful in games and getting noticed by coaches for his talents. Coach Marcelo was collaborative with the coaching goals, communicated in a timely manner, and was able to adjust his routine for specific player needs. Truly a 1:1 coaching experience to gain skills but also overlap with other students allowed for the player to test the skills gained in a competitive environment while still being coached and encouraged. Book an appointment, you will be satisfied with the results.

My daughter has been training with Marcelo as a child and now heading into high school. His communication and the player development is top tier. He has always shown her new ways of doing things on the field that she implemented during the games and trainings at the club level. I can’t recommend him enough. If you’re wanting someone who’s prompt, knows the details of excellence, and provides feedback to better a player, I encourage you to contact Marcelo.

Marcelo helps developing players learn to use their imagination and play with confidence. His personal trainings allow young players to receive help with harboring individual skills that are often left untouched in larger team trainings. By focusing on individual skills such as control, speed, and shooting, Marcelo’s trainings can help young players become a stand out in their team.

My daughter had lost a lot of confidence in her last season of soccer. Marcelo has been working with her for less than two months and she has already gained back her confidence and more. Her ball mastery and vision for the game has improved immensely. Marcelo is great at pushing her to her limits and encouraging her to want to be a better player. I couldnt recommend anyone better

Marcelo has been monumental in my son’s development as an all around soccer player. We’ve been working with him for a few months and my son’s technical ability, dribbling, passing, and shooting have grown leaps and bounds with Marcelo. Excited to play Futsal with him later too! I highly recommend training with Marcelo to help take your game to the next level!
