I tutor elementary students one-on-one and in small groups, including students with IEP and 504 supports. I start by finding what they know, then set a simple goal for the session, model the skill and give scaffolded practice with quick checks for understanding. I'm big on encouragement, clear steps and steady routines, and I build in short breaks or multisensory tools when attention or anxiety show up. Families get quick updates and next steps so we're all aligned.
