To be honest, Dave is a close personal friend of mine but I asked him if I could sign up for the class he was teaching next. What really impressed me was that I went into the first class being a bit nervous being his friend, but he had everyone introduce themselves and he said by all means that I was to tell everyone I was his friend (and it turned out, only male besides himself) and everyone seemed excited because his friend had signed up. Dave started with all the basics, how to hold the Paddle, how to be in position to serve or return, how the scoring works, and when I got confused keeping score, he knew he had me, because I did it over and over...but he would just laugh and mention the actual score and we'd play on. His coaching and instructing style is low key, fun, engaging, (while also making fun of my inability to remember the score). I truly enjoyed the classes and hope to take more from him in the near future because he's a great instructor!,

David is a very patient coach. He was very clear when he explained the rules of pickleball. He was able to help each one of us but still pay attention to the other players. He was very encouraging which made us want to come back for more lessons. He provided easy exercises to do on our own. I would highly recommend him if you are thinking of taking up pickleball.

I found Dave in Puerto Vallarta. He gave me lessons on serving and dinking. We focused on my mechanics and I was able to add power and spins to my serves and I’m able to dink more aggressively and with a purpose. I’m looking forward to taking his drop shots and transitions class and more serving classes next fall.

Received my first formal instruction on Pickelball from Dave. His approach was to teach the fundamentals and then facilitate drills to help us perfect those skills. Dave’s an excellent Instructor and an even better person. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE!

Dave is great at adapting his coaching technique to the players. He is very patient with our group of Adults with Disabilities and makes every class lots of fun!  He is knowledgeable and has actively been involved in the progress of our athletes.

I take Dave’s individual clinics through Bloomington Ed. He’s helped me immensely with my serves, dinks, drops, lobs/defending lobs and footwork. He’s made me really focus on my footwork and strategy and it’s helping me in rec play.
