I trained with him for five months, one to two times per week, with the goal of learning to rally and play socially with friends. By the end of that period, I was rallying consistently and felt confident on the court. His coaching is focused on technique. He emphasizes proper grip, footwork, posture, and body positioning from the start. His attention to detail ensures that form is built correctly and bad habits are avoided. Every correction is purposeful and clearly explained. Dennis also teaches practical game strategy.… > From Jen, 5 out of 5 > Dennis is an exceptional tennis coach with a strong ability to teach both children and adults. I’ve booked multiple sessions with him for my 6-year-old son, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed by how he keeps young learners engaged and fosters a genuine interest in the sport. Seeing my son’s progress inspired me to take a few lessons myself, and I found the experience equally rewarding. Dennis brings tremendous value to any community, and I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone—whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your skills. > From Hitesh, 5 out of 5 > Highschool varsity doubles player Dennis is a really great coach in the sense that he is passionate for helping people improve and is good at communicating. Any skills or shots I want to master, Dennis explains really eloquently and thoroughly. You can either lead the contents of your lesson or ask Dennis to choose what he thinks will be best to work on and help you improve. Would highly recommend Dennis as his lessons are enjoyable and you will definitely see results in your game. > From Zemar, 5 out of 5 > Dennis coached our 5-year-old for a few months and was fantastic. He was patient, encouraging, and made the lessons fun while still focusing on fundamentals. Our child looked forward to each session and made noticeable progress each time. When Dennis had to move away, he introduced us to his former coach, who has also been great with our kid. We highly recommend Dennis for young beginners! > From Yan, 5 out of 5 > Coach Dennis Wang is awesome! He’s super patient, fun, and really knows how to keep kids motivated. My son always has a great time at his lessons and comes home excited to tell us what he learned. You can tell Coach Dennis really cares, and that makes a huge difference. Highly recommend! > From Ray, 5 out of 5 > In one 90 minute lesson with Dennis, I saw more improvements in my technique than I have in months prior. Dennis is super talented instructor and player: kind, patient, clear, and committed to efficiently using lesson time to help his students improve. I highly recommend! > From Carter, 5 out of 5 > Dennis was amazing in teaching our 6yo over the summer! Our son really improved in his form and love for the game. Dennis was punctual and made the lessons extremely engaging for a young student > From Achint, 5 out of 5 > Dennis is a really detail-oriented instructor, he always make sure he correct my gesture and movement when I hit the ball, this get me to where I am today, really appreciate his teaching! > From Sheldon, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/services/index.md) - [Tennis Lessons](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/lessons) - [Private Lessons](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/private-lessons/index.md) - [Lessons in Chesapeake](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/areas/chesapeake) - [Lessons in Norfolk](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/areas/norfolk) - [Lessons in Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/areas/virginia-beach) - [Deep Creek High School, Chesapeake](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/deep-creek-high-school-chesapeake) - [Greenbrier Sports Park, Chesapeake](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/greenbrier-sports-park-chesapeake) - [Indian River High School, Chesapeake](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/indian-river-high-school-chesapeake) - [Fergus Reid Tennis Park, Norfolk](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/fergus-reid-tennis-park-norfolk) - [Lafayette Park Tennis Courts, Norfolk](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/lafayette-park-tennis-courts-norfolk) - [Lakewood Park, Norfolk](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/lakewood-park-norfolk) - [Bayville Farms Park, Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/bayville-farms-park-virginia-beach) - [Green Run High School, Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/green-run-high-school-virginia-beach) - [Kempsville Recreation Center, Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/kempsville-recreation-center-virginia-beach) - [Lynnhaven Middle School, Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/lynnhaven-middle-school-virginia-beach) - [Princess Anne High School, Virginia Beach](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/locations/princess-anne-high-school-virginia-beach) - [Agent instructions](https://sites.coach/dennis-wang/llms.txt) ## Book through the API Dennis Wang sells Tennis lessons on this site.
