PasadenaWhat Students Say
Ashton
5 lessons
From Ashton: I had basically no tennis experience when I started, so I was a little nervous at first. Dora made it really easy to get comfortable on the court. We worked on the basics and did a lot of different drills, which kept the lessons fun. After a few lessons, I was able to rally much more consistently and actually felt like I knew what I was doing.
Emma

From Emma’s Mom: Dora was really patient and encouraging during our lessons. She always noticed small things I could fix and explained how to correct them. I especially liked that the lessons were structured but never felt stressful. I’ve become much more confident in my technique and really enjoyed working with her.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do lessons take place?
Lessons can take place at Eagle Rock Recreation Center or at a court/location that works best for you! I’m flexible and happy to meet at your preferred court.
Can I take a lesson with a friend or family member?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to take a lesson with a friend or family member. If both people will be participating in the lesson, please make sure to register for two people.
What happens during the first lesson?
During our first lesson, I’ll get to know you and your tennis experience, assess your current level, and learn what you want to improve. From there, we’ll work on drills and skills that fit your level and goals. Most importantly, I want you to have fun while improving!
What ages do you teach?
I teach students of all ages and skill levels! Whether you’re a younger player just getting started, an adult picking up tennis for the first time, or an experienced player looking to improve, I’ll adjust the lesson to your level and goals.
Can I start as a complete beginner?
Absolutely! No prior tennis experience is needed. I love working with beginners and will teach you the fundamentals step-by-step at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
Do I need my own tennis racket?
Having your own tennis racket is preferred, but don’t worry if you don’t have one yet! I have extra rackets available that you can use during the lesson.
