Though I’ll be off next week, I plan to keep practicing consistently, which should help. The focus on maintaining a steady, relaxed mindset feels pretty valuable overall. If you’re looking to sharpen your tennis skills with a coach who emphasizes confidence and clarity, trying Emmanuel might be worth considering. > From Melanee, 5 out of 5 > The lesson with Emmanuel was quite fun, and I appreciated how he kept it engaging while still focusing on improving my game. Though I’d say it was more about having a good time, I did notice some subtle adjustments that could make my play more competitive. Still, I left feeling confident and motivated to practice what we discussed. If you're looking for a relaxed, skill-focused tennis lesson, Emmanuel might be worth trying. > From Sofia, 5 out of 5 > Im a former recreational player hoping to resume playing after a 10-year hiatus. I really appreciated that Emmanuel was so patient with me, working at just the right pace for a 70-year-old like me. I’m sure he’s fantastic no matter what level you play at: He is a supportive instructor who can make anyone feel comfortable! Im hoping to take more lessons with him so I can resume playing this fantastic sport! > From Mary, 5 out of 5 > I think the lesson with Emmanuel was quite helpful. He really paid attention to my feedback and clarified some key groundstroke techniques, which I appreciated. Still, I hope next time we can also focus more on my serve, as that’s been a bit inconsistent. Though, overall, the lesson provided a solid foundation and I’d consider trying another one soon. > From Mark, 5 out of 5 > Emmanuel’s lesson stood out because he really focused on my footwork technique, which I found quite helpful. Still, I’d probably benefit from more practice to really tune in my stroke consistency. Though I felt the coaching was precise and practical, I’ll look forward to trying more lessons with him. > From Daniel, 5 out of 5 > I’d say the lesson was pretty solid, especially because Emmanuel was quite patient and knew his stuff. the overall guidance was helpful and natural. I’d encourage others to give Emmanuel a try if you want a measured approach. > From Audrey, 5 out of 5 > Had a great first class with Emmanuel! I’m a beginner, having never played tennis before and Emmanuel was very patient and encouraging while explaining the main strokes, proper form and rules for the game. > From Hania, 5 out of 5 > Emmanuel is a terrific coach—I am an adult beginner who never held a racket and he taught me step by step. I definitely plan to continue lessons with him. > From Ashlyn, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/services/index.md) - [Tennis Lessons](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/lessons) - [Private Lessons](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/private-lessons/index.md) - [Lessons in Alexandria](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/alexandria) - [Lessons in Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/arlington) - [Lessons in Bethesda](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/bethesda) - [Lessons in Chevy Chase](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/chevy-chase) - [Lessons in Gaithersburg](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/gaithersburg) - [Lessons in McLean](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/mclean) - [Lessons in Rockville](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/rockville) - [Lessons in Silver Spring](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/silver-spring) - [Lessons in Washington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/washington-dc) - [Lessons in Washington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/washington-district-of-columbia) - [Lessons in Wheaton-Glenmont](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/areas/wheaton-glenmont) - [Burgundy Park, Alexandria](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/burgundy-park-alexandria) - [Potomac Yard Park, Alexandria](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/potomac-yard-park-alexandria) - [Fort Scott Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/fort-scott-park-arlington) - [Glebe Road Park Tennis Courts, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/glebe-road-park-tennis-courts-arlington) - [Jennie Dean Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/jennie-dean-park-arlington) - [Kenmore Middle School, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/kenmore-middle-school-arlington) - [Langston-Brown Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/langston-brown-park-arlington) - [Marcey Road Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/marcey-road-park-arlington) - [Quincy Park Tennis Courts, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/quincy-park-tennis-courts-arlington) - [Stratford Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/stratford-park-arlington) - [Towers Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/towers-park-arlington) - [Walter Reed Community Park, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/walter-reed-community-park-arlington) - [Williamsburg Middle School, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/williamsburg-middle-school-arlington) - [Yorktown High School, Arlington](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/yorktown-high-school-arlington) - [Bethesda Chevy Chase High School Tennis Courts, Bethesda](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/bethesda-chevy-chase-high-school-tennis-courts-bethesda) - [Meadowbrook Local Park, Chevy Chase](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/meadowbrook-local-park-chevy-chase) - [Quince Orchard Swim And Tennis Club, Gaithersburg](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/quince-orchard-swim-and-tennis-club-gaithersburg) - [Washingtonian Woods Park, Gaithersburg](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/washingtonian-woods-park-gaithersburg) - [Linway Terrace Park, McLean](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/linway-terrace-park-mclean) - [Georgetown Prep Tennis Club, Rockville](https://sites.coach/emmanuel-stoner/locations/georgetown-prep-tennis-club-rockville) - [Colonel E.
