One 12-hour block of lessons completed and I can now block balls from bangers, put shape on dinks, aggressively speed-up, and hold my own with much better players. Coach Bragg has given me forehand and backhand skills. Besides jokes/laughing throughout the lessons, a highlight is to play real points against a pro pickleballer! We have worked on: Dinking forehand Dinking backhand Singles play strategy Doubles strategy Presetting paddle angles Contact points Finish paddle angle Much more not on this list. I’ll book again with Coach Bragg! > From Justin, 5 out of 5 > The lesson was really great, actually. I appreciated the focused approach and how well James explained nuances of pickleball, which helped me understand my game better. Still, I think with a bit more emphasis on certain techniques, it could be even better. Anyway, I’m hopeful that future lessons will continue to sharpen my skills, and I’d say you should consider trying James if you want someone who knows their stuff. > From Jessica, 5 out of 5 > Tournament player here. I have taken lessons with several coaches over the years but taking lessons with a certified professional player was quite the change. - James focused on fundamentals even at the tournament level - gave great examples based on professional current players techniques - gave great match play advice that I applied to my game and have seen improvement > From Will, 5 out of 5 > The way James explained things made it really easy to follow, especially with the backhand and forehand dink techniques. Though I still need to build on what I learned, I think another lesson could really help me improve those shots. If you're looking for a straightforward and clear teaching style, you might find it worth trying James. > From Bre, 5 out of 5 > The lesson with James was quite helpful, especially his expertise and constant encouragement to hold the right positions and swings, which made a difference. I hope to have more sessions like this, I appreciate the kind guidance. James could definitely keep up the good work if you're looking to get more comfortable with your strokes. > From Mike, 5 out of 5 > Used James for tournament training. After hearing his resume I wanted to give him a try. I wasn’t disappointed. James played me in matches and drilled with me. Gave me great feedback and even came to my tournament and took notes for us to use in our practices. I recommend James if you want to improve. > From Craig, 5 out of 5 > I really appreciated how James pushes me to my limit and carefully analyzes even the smallest details, fixing things I hadn’t noticed before. His attention to detail made a big difference in my game. If you want focused and thorough coaching, James is the guy. I would argue he's the best out there. > From Matt, 5 out of 5 > Happy to be working with James. He took me as a student even though I’m a senior player. He is patient and understanding of my limits. I have began to beat most of the other seniors in my groups I play with during the week. He provides very technical advice that can be applied right away. > From Victor, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/james-bragg/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/james-bragg/services/index.md) -
