Drills + Skills + Fun = Leveled-up! One 12-hour block of lessons completed and I can now block balls from bangers, put shape on dinks, aggressively speed-up, and hold my own with much better players. Coach Bragg has given me forehand and backhand skills. Besides jokes/laughing throughout the lessons, a highlight is to play real points against a pro pickleballer! The lesson was really great, actually. I appreciated the focused approach and how well James explained nuances of pickleball, which helped me understand my game better. Still, I think with a bit more emphasis on certain techniques, it could be even better. Anyway, I’m hopeful that future lessons will continue to sharpen my skills, and I’d say you should consider trying James if you want someone who knows their stuff.

Tournament player here. I have taken lessons with several coaches over the years but taking lessons with a certified professional player was quite the change. - James focused on fundamentals even at the tournament level - gave great examples based on professional current players techniques - gave great match play advice that I applied to my game and have seen improvement

The way James explained things made it really easy to follow, especially with the backhand and forehand dink techniques. Though I still need to build on what I learned, I think another lesson could really help me improve those shots. If you're looking for a straightforward and clear teaching style, you might find it worth trying James.
