Michael's focus on correcting bad habits first really sharpened my awareness, and I appreciated the way he emphasized addressing those issues early on. Still, I think a bit more technical guidance could make the lessons even more effective. Though, I look forward to seeing how I progress with his support and hope he continues to refine his approach. Definitely consider trying Michael if you're looking to improve your game. > From Dena, 5 out of 5 > Michael is amazing and is worth more than his current rates. I’ve taken lessons from certified coaches and pros, and have never walked away feeling as hopeful as I did after Michael’s lessons. He somehow turned my frustration into laughter and my “what am I even doing?” moments into actual progress. His patience, sense of humor, and ability to break down the mechanics of each shot made it all click. I learned new techniques, gained confidence, and knowledge to win points. I’ve taken plenty of lessons before, but his individualized coaching was hands-down the best ever. He knows how to meet yo… > From Anna, 5 out of 5 > Coach Michael was a game-changer in my pickleball journey, especially coming from a tennis background. Despite just one lesson, his expertise helped me transition smoothly to pickleball technique. His relaxed teaching style made learning a breeze, and he tailored the lesson perfectly to my needs. Michael's passion for the game is contagious, leaving me excited to improve. Moreover, he was incredibly patient and engaging with my 8-year-old son. He made the lesson fun and interactive, ensuring that my son felt included and motivated throughout. Michael's ability to connect with both adults and… > From John, 5 out of 5 > I had the pleasure of learning from an exceptional pickleball coach who taught me the fundamentals of dinking to learning the third drop shot. Each session was insightful and engaging. The coach's approach to 'the wall' drill, while very tiring, improved my reflexes. He emphasized the proper way to drive by hitting the ball flat and lifting it up for a top spin. I am sure he can teach me more strategies to better my game and boost my confidence. However, the four hours i budgeted for my training is over. It was money well spent with Mike as my coach. > From Angell, 5 out of 5 > I had the pleasure of training with Coach Michael for pickleball, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. His coaching style is not only effective but also inspiring. Michael's attention to detail and personalized approach to drills truly sets him apart. He has a knack for breaking down techniques and strategies in a way that's easy to understand and apply on the court. If you're looking to elevate your pickleball game and reach your full potential, I highly recommend training with Coach Michael. You won't be disappointed! > From Lalo, 5 out of 5 > I guess that about sums it up, the lesson was pretty good and I learned a lot. Though I still need to practice more, I feel like I made some real progress. Michael's approach definitely helped me understand some key aspects of pickleball better. Still, I think with more practice I can improve even further. If you're serious about getting better, it might be worth trying out a lesson with him. > From Teri, 5 out of 5 > Oh, Michael’s lesson was quite thorough. He explains everything clearly, takes his time, and doesn’t rush through anything, which I appreciated. Still, I think it could benefit from a few more improvements, but overall, I feel more confident about my shot placement and control now. If you’re looking to improve your technique gradually, you might want to give Michael a try. > From Vahid, 5 out of 5 > Have to admit I only wanted to play pickleball because my friends kept talking trash. So I wanted to get good as quickly as possible! Michael really helped me get good fast. The weakest point in my game was the kitchen. He helped me develop fast hands by drilling and wall exercises and corrected my technique. Now I kill my friends on the net lol > From Albertson, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/michael-m/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/michael-m/services/index.md) - [Pickleball Lessons](https://sites.coach/michael-m/lessons) - [Private Lessons](https://sites.coach/michael-m/private-lessons/index.md) - [Lessons in Artesia](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/artesia) - [Lessons in Buena Park](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/buena-park) - [Lessons in Carson](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/carson) - [Lessons in Cerritos](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/cerritos) - [Lessons in Costa Mesa](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/costa-mesa) - [Lessons in Downey](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/downey) - [Lessons in El Segundo](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/el-segundo) - [Lessons in Huntington Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/huntington-beach) - [Lessons in Irvine](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/irvine) - [Lessons in La Mirada](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/la-mirada) - [Lessons in Long Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/long-beach) - [Lessons in Los Angeles](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/los-angeles) - [Lessons in Montebello](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/montebello) - [Lessons in Orange](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/orange) - [Lessons in Orange County](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/orange-county) - [Lessons in Rancho Palos Verdes](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/rancho-palos-verdes) - [Lessons in Redondo Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/redondo-beach) - [Lessons in Rosemead](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/rosemead) - [Lessons in Tustin](https://sites.coach/michael-m/areas/tustin) - [Our Lady of Fatima School (Tennis Court), Artesia](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/our-lady-of-fatima-school-tennis-court-artesia) - [Carl Brenner Park, Buena Park](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/carl-brenner-park-buena-park) - [Hemingway Park, Carson](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/hemingway-park-carson) - [Don Knabe Community Regional Park, Cerritos](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/don-knabe-community-regional-park-cerritos) - [Liberty Park, Cerritos](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/liberty-park-cerritos) - [Tanager Park, Costa Mesa](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/tanager-park-costa-mesa) - [Independence Park, Downey](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/independence-park-downey) - [Recreation Park, El Segundo](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/recreation-park-el-segundo) - [HB Sports Warehouse Indoor Pickleball, Huntington Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/hb-sports-warehouse-indoor-pickleball-huntington-beach) - [San Carlo Park, Irvine](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/san-carlo-park-irvine) - [La Mirada Community Regional Park, La Mirada](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/la-mirada-community-regional-park-la-mirada) - [El Dorado Park (Pickleball), Long Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/el-dorado-park-pickleball-long-beach) - [Somerset Park, Long Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/somerset-park-long-beach) - [Stearns Champions Park, Long Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/stearns-champions-park-long-beach) - [Peck Park Community Center (Tennis Court), Los Angeles](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/peck-park-community-center-tennis-court-los-angeles) - [Montebello City Park, Montebello](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/montebello-city-park-montebello) - [El Camino Real Park, Orange](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/el-camino-real-park-orange) - [Chapman Sports Park, Orange County](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/chapman-sports-park-orange-county) - [Ken Dyda Civic Center, Rancho Palos Verdes](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/ken-dyda-civic-center-rancho-palos-verdes) - [Perry Park, Redondo Beach](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/perry-park-redondo-beach) - [Garvey Park, Rosemead](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/garvey-park-rosemead) - [Tustin Pickleball, Tustin](https://sites.coach/michael-m/locations/tustin-pickleball-tustin) - [Agent instructions](https://sites.coach/michael-m/llms.txt) ## Book through the API Michael M. sells Pickleball lessons on this site.
