His guidance, corrections, and explanations were easy to understand. He took the time to answer all of my questions through our first lesson. I can tell he would be a great coach to continue building my skills with and provide the right guidance towards my playing goals. I’m looking forward to continuing my lessons with him and to put into practice the great foundation he has already taught me. I would highly recommend Paul as your pickleball coach! > From Tyng, 5 out of 5 > Having taken a lesson with Paul, I’d say the experience was quite good. Though not overly enthusiastic, I think the focus on fundamentals really helped clarify my technique. I feel reasonably confident I’ll improve with time. Still, some more tailored drills would be welcome in future lessons. Anyway, if you’re looking to refine your skills without any fluff, Paul’s worth considering. > From Robert, 5 out of 5 > Coach Paul is a good fit for me. Im looking for somebody who will help me perfect the basics. This is my first lesson with him and I liked that he pointed out few fundamentals I need to know initially. I know I need to know more and attending more lessons is the next step. I told him my goals and he told me the outline of what we should do. I’m looking forward to my next lessons! > From Aim, 5 out of 5 > My lesson with Paul was great! He explained everything in detail.. my most favorite was explaining of body mechanics (hand movements , foot positioning , best positioning for paddles) Which help me out a lot. Still a beginner at pickle ball, took lessons in past, unfortunately wasn’t taught this. FYI this was my first lesson with Paul and happy to learn so much. > From Tamara, 5 out of 5 > What stood out most during the lesson was Paul’s patience and clear focus on teaching the mechanics. The approach made it easy to grasp the fundamentals and feel more confident on the court. If you want a solid introduction to pickleball skills, Paul's lessons are definitely worth trying out. You’ll come away with useful tips and a better understanding of the game. > From Jim, 5 out of 5 > What energized me was Paul’s clear and brief introduction that led us through all the basic skills. We practiced each area and covered the main points of the game, which made the lesson well-rounded and engaging. If you want to build a solid pickleball foundation, Paul's lessons are definitely worth trying out. Give it a shot and see for yourself! 🙂 > From Beth, 5 out of 5 > What I found most helpful was working on my serve and reviewing dinking and blocking shots at the net from the previous lesson. There’s still room for improvement, but Paul’s clear guidance made it easier to understand these skills. If you want to sharpen your pickleball game, his lessons are definitely worth trying! 😊 > From Katie, 5 out of 5 > I loved the good lesson with Paul. The pace and instruction made it easy to follow and learn new skills. If you’re looking to improve your pickleball game in a friendly and effective way, definitely give Paul’s lessons a try. It’s a great experience that keeps you motivated to play more and get better. 😊 > From Alex, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/services/index.md) - [Pickleball Lessons](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/lessons) - [Private Lessons](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/private-lessons/index.md) - [Group Lessons](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/group-lessons/index.md) - [Kids Lessons](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/kids-lessons/index.md) - [Lessons in Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/chicago) - [Lessons in Downers Grove](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/downers-grove) - [Lessons in Evanston](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/evanston) - [Lessons in Hinsdale](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/hinsdale) - [Lessons in Hoffman Estates](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/hoffman-estates) - [Lessons in Lisle](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/lisle) - [Lessons in Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/naperville) - [Lessons in Oak Brook](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/oak-brook) - [Lessons in Skokie](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/skokie) - [Lessons in Wheaton](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/wheaton) - [Lessons in Woodridge](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/areas/woodridge) - [Armour (Philip) Square Park (Tennis Court), Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/armour-philip-square-park-tennis-court-chicago) - [ChiPickle, Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/chipickle-chicago) - [Grant Pickleball Courts, Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/grant-pickleball-courts-chicago) - [Portage - Pickleball Courts (Tennis Court), Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/portage-pickleball-courts-tennis-court-chicago) - [Roosevelt (Theodore) Park, Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/roosevelt-theodore-park-chicago) - [Union Park, Chicago](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/union-park-chicago) - [McCollum Park, Downers Grove](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/mccollum-park-downers-grove) - [Chandler-Newberger Community Center, Evanston](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/chandler-newberger-community-center-evanston) - [James Park, Evanston](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/james-park-evanston) - [Brook Park, Hinsdale](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/brook-park-hinsdale) - [Fabbrini Park, Hoffman Estates](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/fabbrini-park-hoffman-estates) - [Abbeywood Park, Lisle](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/abbeywood-park-lisle) - [Frontier Sports Complex, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/frontier-sports-complex-naperville) - [Knoch Park, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/knoch-park-naperville) - [Nike Sports Complex, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/nike-sports-complex-naperville) - [Play n Thrive Naperville, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/play-n-thrive-naperville) - [Ranchview Park, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/ranchview-park-naperville) - [Sure Shot Pickleball, Naperville](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/sure-shot-pickleball-naperville) - [Saddlebrook Park, Oak Brook](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/saddlebrook-park-oak-brook) - [Oakton Park Pickleball Complex, Skokie](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/oakton-park-pickleball-complex-skokie) - [Atten Park (tennis court), Wheaton](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/atten-park-tennis-court-wheaton) - [Central Park, Wheaton Park District, Wheaton](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/central-park-wheaton-park-district-wheaton) - [Hobson Corner Park, Woodridge](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/locations/hobson-corner-park-woodridge) - [Agent instructions](https://sites.coach/paul-chang/llms.txt) ## Book through the API Paul Chang sells Pickleball lessons on this site.
