Katy was instrumental in my D1 college golf recruitment process. Not only was she my cheerleader and encourager, but she also made sure I stayed on top of my grades, writing professional emails, and keeping my golf portfolio updated for college coaches to reference. Since she was a class ahead of me, I was also able to witness her own recruitment process, which gave me a firsthand look at what the process could look like and helped me feel more prepared when it was my turn. Gave the lesson as a gift to my by bestie. Katy was very communicative regarding the lesson and inquired about what goals we had for a lesson outcome. She arrived on time and prepared. My friend really enjoyed the lesson and constructive feedback. He said was very cool and easy to learn from. She even would crack a joke from time to time to make the lesson more stress free. A total success for a 1st lesson. I recommend her as an instructor for anyone wanting to get better at golf no matter what level you are.

I had a great first golf lesson with Katy! I’m a complete beginner and come from a basketball background, so golf is definitely new to me. Katy did a great job breaking everything down in a way that was easy to understand and apply. She gave me strong foundational tips and simple checkpoints I can use to make sure my form and swing are good.

In one session, Coach Katy noticed and fixed my problem. From my baseball grip, addressing the ball, to finishing my swing. Now my grip is relaxed, I bow and slightly bend my knees, and finish by hugging the tree. Coach Katy made me comfortable and made funny analogies to fix my problem. Great coaching
