I started playing pickleball 3 years ago and I play almost every day in advanced level open play and ladder sessions. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to go from not knowing how to play to being a solid pickup player who can play in advanced level games.
I recently took a pickleball lesson with Michael and it was a great experience! Michael is very knowledgeable, patient, and enthusiastic, making the session both fun and productive. We covered lots of ground, from proper grip and footwork, to different kinds of shots and court strategy. Michael broke things down in a way that was easy to understand, offering personalized feedback and encouragement throughout. This was my first lesson, and I already feel an improvement. Oh, the lesson was quite helpful, especially with volley and drop shot drills that really clarified some techniques for me. Still, I think more practice on those specific shots would be beneficial. There's definitely room for refinement. The serve technique also saw some improvement, which was good to see. Honestly, Michael's approach feels quite measured and straightforward, making it easy to stay focused without feeling overwhelmed. If you're interested in fine-tuning your pickleball skills, I’d say give him a try.
