Within 5 minutes of watching me in rec play, Coach Ted already knew what all I struggled with. I’ve worked with so many coaches in the past year and have had countless lessons, but Coach Ted is probably the only coach who had somehow explained something to me in a way I understood. All previous coaches would try to show me how to use more shoulders to hit instead of all arm, but I could never do it properly until Coach Ted showed me and I was able to do it right away. He taught me to hit starting with “side view” and to hit like “twisting a bottle”. We also worked on two-handed backhanded dinks and drives and backhand slices. We also worked on volleys and he showed me how to “jab” and I was able to keep the volley going for 10 minutes. Coach Ted was very patient and professional and got right down to business. I am already planning my next lesson with him and I know he will help me level up. I highly recommend Coach Ted!

What I really like about his coaching is that he meets you where you are in terms of your level, keeps things fun, and has a great way of pushing you without making it feel overwhelming. His drills are practical, challenging, and you can actually see the difference in your game. Ted is also the kind of coach that clubs seek out from all over, including internationally, to work with their exclusive guests, and after taking a few sessions with him, it’s easy to see why. Great coach, great energy, and you definitely walk away from each session a better player. Highly recommend Ted!
