Marcos is what you could say … a diamond in the rough. Not that, he needs polishing but rather, that his talent is hidden in plain sight. His studying of European, South American and otherwise, eclectic, football tactics is very apparent when being trained by him. His football knowledge is extensive and of extreme value, especially somewhere like the United States. Being trained by Marcos is something to behold considering the dedication he brings on and off the pitch, a dedication to the sport and to his students. Marcos has a dedication rarely seen in even the best players in the world, so to be taught by him is something any football player would cherish. His style is not always the flashiest, nor is it always the most straightforward. But, neither of those, will get you the goal. Rather, Marcos’s focus is team oriented, positioning yourself correctly, thinking about the next move, and doing the right moves at the right time. What is being trained by Marcos like? What should I compare it to? It is like being a trained by a grandmaster of chess, who is not only studious, and knowledgeable of the game, but also dedicated, focused, intelligent, and persistent. Marcos is one of a kind. To be trained by Marcos, is to be trained by one of footballs most astute and analytical athletes. If any football player were to heeds these words, heed this: Marcos is the man for the job. On and off the pitch.

Marcos has been an incredible soccer coach for my daughter. He is energetic, knowledgeable, and dedicated to making each practice fun and challenging. Since training with Marcos, her skills and confidence have increased, and she has learned the importance of good sportsmanship and being a team player. I would rate Marcos as a 5. He brings positive energy, a plan, and patience to each practice. He is very reliable and enjoys sharing his love of soccer through coaching.

We didn't spend a ton of time with Marcos, but he made a big impact on my daughter. She was excited to play soccer and was really trying to get better. Marcos made her feel welcome from the start and helped her improve. He made sure it was always about the kids. We ended up moving out of town, but I'm hopeful she can have more coaches like Marcos. 5 stars.

Marcos is the perfect soccer coach. Already on the 1st day he taught the kids some great footwork and agility skills. They’re so excited to learn more!

Marcos is a really good coach, super smart and clearly loves what he does. You can tell he’s passionate about the sport and it shows in the way he coaches. Always brings good energy to sessions and keeps everyone focused and working hard. He gives solid feedback, not just during training but also before and after which helps a lot. It’s not just random stuff either, it actually makes sense and helps you improve. He’s good at explaining things in a way that clicks. He’s easy to talk to too, doesn’t make you feel bad if you mess up, just helps you fix it and move on. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is maybe could do a bit more one-on-one stuff or go deeper into some things. But honestly, he’s great, def recommend if you’re looking to get better.
