As a passionate advocate for surfing, I've shared my knowledge with countless individuals, from kids to adults, helping them experience the thrill of catching a wave. Additionally, I volunteered at Third Coast Rising, a nonprofit providing free therapy to veterans and first responders through surfing. Together, we're not just riding waves; we're making waves of positive change in our community.
I have surfed the ocean before and always wanted to surf the lake. Coach Mark was able to use my knowledge and experience from the sea and translate it into surfing the lake. The lake is such a different setting to learn compared to the sea, and I'm happy to have had him with his experience surfing multiple oceans and lakes.
