Although an injury prevented me from playing college tennis, my service in the Air Force provided a new platform for coaching, where I had the honor of sharing my tennis expertise with fellow service members. As a part-time tennis coach at MVP, I continue to inspire and mentor players of all levels, drawing from my diverse background and love for the game.
Although I’ve played tennis for 40+ years, I am new to pickleball this summer, and am so glad I connected with Mark! He’s not only a skilled and knowledgeable coach, but a kind and patient person. Mark is phenomenal at explaining the transition from tennis to pickleball and the intricacies of each shot, position, and strategy. He’s also very personable and has a genuine interest in knowing me as an individual. Sometimes you cross paths with the right person at the right time, and Mark is one of those people. I thoroughly enjoy getting out on the court and learning the game of pickleball from Mark. In just a few short weeks, my skill level has improved significantly! Highly recommended!

I am visiting Michigan for the month, and wanted to learn the game of tennis while I was here. I found Mark online, read the reviews, and decided to trust them. Man, were they all 100% accurate! He is informative, patient, and truly adapts each session to the individual. You can tell he cares about your success and passion for the sport itself. He is flexible with scheduling, provides thorough feedback during each session, and is just a kind/happy person who puts a smile on your face. As an absolute beginner, I highly recommend learning the wonderful game of tennis with Coach Mark!
