Five Lessons

I hired Matthew based upon other reviewers impressive reviews, and satisfaction of how well Matthew was able to teach their child. Others have stated how well Matthew was able to teach younger children successfully by identifying specific needs, and communicating in a way a younger person can understand the best. I agree. After spending many sessions with my 15 year old daughter, I saw that Matthew has the ability to identify specific needs quickly, communicate effectively towards the students needs, and is passionate of the students success. I enjoyed watching my daughter, Hannah, work together with Matthew. He really brought new confidence to Hannah, and was passionate about her succeeding. Although this years tennis season is coming to a close soon, my daughter and I would like to continue sessions next season. Thank you very much Matthew!

Our son took about 6 hours of tennis lessons with coach Matthew. At the beginning, coach reviewed with us on what skills need to be improved and at the end of each session, we briefly talked about what new techniques they worked on. Coach Matthew helped our son in improving his service, drop shots, forehand and backhand strokes, volley and others. We recommend coach Matthew to all levels tennis players who are seeking instruction.

I can't recommend Matt enough! After taking a couple - ok, a lot - of years off tennis, my mother (62) and I (26) did 6 lessons with Matt to re-introduce ourselves to the game. He's incredibly friendly and fun to talk too, flexible with scheduling, and did a wonderful job assessing our skills and giving thoughtful instruction to improve our game while ensuring we had plenty of reps on the ball for practice. Matthew has been great to work with as I've re-introduced myself to the game of tennis over the last few months. He is quick to pick up on what his students may need and asses where they are at. He is polite and professional, and has been flexible in scheduling with me, which I appreciate! I feel more confident and consistent after lessons with him. Would highly recommend!
