There’s nothing better than watching a student improve and break their personal best. I enjoy making beginners feel comfortable and confident when they’re at the range or playing a new course for the first time, since it can be intimidating. I’ve been playing golf since age 12, reaching one of the highest levels of amateur golf in Ireland, competing alongside players like Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry, representing my province at the Interprovincial Championships, and winning my state championship. Coaching has become just as big a passion as playing. I specialize in TrackMan analysis, so we can get properly technical, recording and dissecting your swing to understand exactly what’s happening and why. Alongside that, we’ll work through playing lessons focused on course management and short game, chipping and putting, which I believe is the most important part of anyone’s game. I’m a scratch golfer with elite, tour level ball striking ability, matching pro caliber numbers in distance and precision. I bring real, tested competitive experience to every lesson, not just theory. Based in the Miami area and available to coach throughout the region. Ready to take your game to the next level? My swing felt super awkward, I was stiff, and honestly golf wasn’t even that fun because I had no idea what I was doing. Simon helped me fix pretty much everything from the ground up. He corrected my stance, showed me how the swing is actually supposed to feel, and gave me simple pointers that were easy to understand and apply. The difference in just one week has been pretty crazy. I’m making consistent contact now, I can hit multiple clubs, my swing feels way more natural, and I… > From Christina, 5 out of 5 > I just started playing golf recently, and Simon got me into the game. He showed me the basics at the golf simulator, and I’ve been hooked ever since. His understanding of the fundamentals really shows, and he makes every lesson fun and enjoyable. He has a great way of relating golf to other sports I already play, which made everything click faster. From my very first lesson he had me hitting the ball, and I’ve continued to improve every week as we work on different parts of my game. I’m really happy with the coaching and plan to keep learning and growing on my golf journey. Highly recommend!” > From Cam, 5 out of 5 ## Pages on this site - [Home](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/index.md) - [All services](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/services/index.md) - [Golf Lessons](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/lessons) - [Lessons in Miami](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/areas/miami) - [The Tips Golf, Miami](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/locations/the-tips-golf-miami) - [Agent instructions](https://sites.coach/simon-mcdonagh/llms.txt) ## Book through the API Simon McDonagh sells Golf lessons on this site.
