On my own time, I primarily ride shortboards but have extensive experience riding longboards (which is what I primarily teach). I've enjoyed teaching many friends and strangers how to surf along with sharing my knowledge of the sport! Unfortunately, I do not provide equipment but I can provide recommendations to some of the best rental places in your area! ### What is the water temperature in San Diego The water temp can vary from about 60-70 degrees depending on the season. At whatever time of the year you decide to book your lesson, I will recommend what to wear! ### Should I be concerned about the sea life? San Diegos beaches are very safe and most sea life are very friendly / stay out of the way.
