Suzanne Savion

As a beginner pickleball, I have found Suzanne to be an excellent instructor! She took the time to explain the different nuances of the game and taught me various things like how to hold my paddle properly, play the kitchen, and serve! Her expertise and experience helped her analyze my game skills and she provided the tweaks needed to improve my game. She also was able to recommend other PB resources, and she provided me with great drills, which helped me become more comfortable on the courts.

Suzanne is quite good at breaking down different parts of the game and explaining them in a way that makes sense, especially because she takes her time giving specific tips for improvement. Still, I’d like to see a bit more of the same in future lessons. Overall, her approach really helped me understand what I need to work on. If you’re looking for a thoughtful coach who explains things clearly, Suzanne might be worth trying out.

My girlfriend and I signed up together for a lesson with Suzanne. We aren't that athletic and didn't know if we would be able to pick up the sport of pickleball. Well, with Suzanne's patience and amazing abilities to dumb everything down for us we can confidently say we are pickleball players. We have spread the word about her as she really has a unique, fun, and energetic way about her that we both enjoyed.

Suzanne is a great pickleball coach. Besides she is very knowledgeable and professional, she can give very specific advice based on my serve and play. She adjusts the session pace to accommodate my need and provide very useful tips to help me. She also give me a lot of information about how to find local clubs and courts. Strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to learn and play pickleball.

I continue to learn new things. This past lesson was a mix of drills to help me manage and return balls coming to my center, right and left. I like when Suzanne has me re- doing something until I get the hang of. She is patient, doesn’t move on just because we spent x amount of time on. She will say “nope, let’s do it again”. I encourage that.

I don't know how Suzanne got me to actually be able to hit the ball and finish a few games with me standing in the right position and knowing how to keep score. I never played a paddle game in my life. In addition, she made it so much fun!!!! I can't wait to play again. I have a few beginner friends like me ligned up already to play with.
