Golf lessons in San Mateo, California

Bob totally reworked my swing. He undid some bad habits Ive had over the years (decades!). He first sees how your swing is then shows you proper grip and hand position. After my first paid lesson he sent me video with an analysis of my swing angles. Im definitely hitting it straighter and gained about 10-20 yards on my 7 iron. Still about a month in with the lessons, but so far so good. My golf buddies already see the difference and I feel like Im swinging easier and more fluid. In the first few lessons hes tracked my swing real time with a Garmin swing tracker. My golf swing is less outside in now. Overall Bob helped improve my iron game. Recommend.

​Coach Bob is an incredible instructor! His expertise as a golf coach shines immediately. He meets you where you're at to customize every lesson and tip. He breaks down the technical components of the swing clearly—as an athletic beginner, his technical and video analysis (super clutch) across different clubs was refreshing and incredibly helpful. We covered positioning, weight transfer, visual cues, hitting the center of the club face, etc--I was even able to get my driver to hit 200 yards! He went above and beyond, sending me notes and even reviewed my gear to recommend a regular flex. I cannot recommend Bob enough!

I’m absolutely amazed. After two months of playing golf, I was struggling to hit the ball straight due to my baseball background. My club head was never straight from the ball, and I couldn’t strike the ball cleanly. During my first lesson, he explained things in a way that made perfect sense and was easy to apply. By the end of the session, I was not only hitting the ball straight but also much farther. Can’t wait to for my second lesson with him and I very much recommend Bob

One thing that made the lesson great was Bob’s attention to detail and his personable style backed by clear data and analytics. This approach helped me understand my technique better and made the session very engaging. If you want to improve your golf game, Bob’s lessons are definitely worth trying. My instructor allowed me to see and measure where my swing has errors. I am doing my best to correct myself. The day after my lesson, I remembered what I had learned the night before and it showed, I got a hole-in-one on Hole 7, 135 yard par 3 with my 7 iron at Rancho Del Pueblo in San Jose! Thank you Bob

Nice to feel instant feedback from the simulator, and the tech boost kept the focus sharp during the lesson, so I’m optimistic about dialing in impact and follow through, especially with a clear highlight to build on.
