Questions about private pickleball lessons
What ages do you teach?
I teach pickleball to kids, teenagers, adults, and seniors. Pickleball is a paddle sport played over a net on a court. I have five years of coaching experience and teach beginners and intermediate players; share the student’s age and experience when you reach out.
Where do lessons take place?
I can teach virtually anywhere as long as there’s a court available to play. Typically will have to be off times of when the majority of people play which is morning. And typically later afternoon.. anytime in between typically there’s a court open
What happens during the first lesson?
During the first pickleball lesson, I teach basic skills. That includes the grip, the serve, proper court position and various techniques to hit the ball. Scoring of course is essential to learn.
Do I need my own pickleball paddle?
I do have extra Pickleball paddles, but it’s very good to buy one that you’re comfortable with and learn to break it in.
Can I take a lesson with a friend or family member?
Yes you can share a lesson with a friend or family member.
Can I start as a complete beginner?
Yes of course! That’s the best time because you haven’t formed any bad habits yet
