I love that our conversations are about MY garden and not some generic gardening lesson. Some days I have questions about watering, other days I'm trying to figure out what's eating my plants! NaTasha is always encouraging and makes learning fun. It feels like having a gardening friend who really knows her stuff.

Between work, kids, and everything else, I thought having a vegetable garden was completely unrealistic. NaTasha helped me think through what would actually fit into our routine instead of trying to do everything at once. Her advice was practical and easy to follow. I really appreciated that!

I wanted to start growing my own vegetables but honestly had no clue where to begin. NaTasha explained things in a way that actually made sense without making me feel silly for asking questions. I love how patient and encouraging she is. Gardening doesn't seem nearly as intimidating anymore!

I've been gardening for a few years, but there were still things I just couldn't figure out. Working with NaTasha helped me look at my garden differently. She doesn't just give you answers. She helps you understand what's happening and why. That kind of guidance is invaluable."

Questions about private gardening lessons
What experience levels do you teach?
I coach gardeners of all experience levels, from complete beginners to experienced growers looking to expand their knowledge and skills! Whether you've never planted a seed, are struggling to keep your plants healthy, or have years of gardening experience and want to explore new techniques, each lesson is tailored to your individual needs and goals. There's no required skill level or experience needed. My goal is to meet you where you are, answer your questions, and help you become a more knowledgeable, confident, and independent gardener.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
Come as you are! All you need for your first lesson is your gardening questions, goals, and a willingness to learn. If you already have a garden, feel free to bring photos of your growing space, plants, or any concerns you'd like to discuss. A notebook is helpful for jotting down tips and ideas. Don't have a garden yet? That's perfectly fine! We'll start wherever you are and focus on what matters most to you. No special tools, supplies, or gardening experience required!
Where do lessons take place?
I offer both virtual and in-person garden coaching! Virtual lessons take place online through video calls, allowing us to connect from wherever you are. You can share photos, ask questions, and receive personalized guidance from the comfort of your home or garden. In-person lessons take place at your home or gardening space in Fayetteville, NC, and surrounding areas. This allows us to work directly in your garden with hands-on instruction tailored to your needs. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside my primary service area.
Can I take a lesson with a friend or family member?
Absolutely! Gardening is even more enjoyable when you grow together! You're welcome to take a lesson with a friend, spouse, or family member who shares your gardening interests. Whether you're starting a family vegetable garden, learning alongside a friend, or working together on a shared growing space, lessons can be tailored to your group's goals and experience levels. Just send me a message before booking so we can discuss the number of participants, your gardening goals, and any additional fees that may apply. Let's grow together!
What happens during the first lesson?
Our first lesson is all about getting to know you, your garden, and your goals! We'll discuss your gardening experience, what you'd like to learn, and any questions or challenges you're facing. If you already have a garden, we can review your growing space, discuss your plants, and explore areas where you'd like guidance. If you're starting from scratch, we'll focus on helping you understand your options and where to begin. Every lesson is tailored to your needs, and you'll leave with practical next steps to explore before our next session.
