Tennis lessons in Poway, California

I had a lesson with Rafael that really stood out because of the focus on my backhand, which led to noticeable improvements though I still have a ways to go. The way he explained some swing mechanics was quite helpful and made me feel more comfortable on court. Still, I’d say there's room for more detailed drills in future lessons, and I’m hopeful about building further my consistency. Rafa's approach is quite straightforward, so I might recommend giving his lessons a try if you're looking for steady progress.

Coach Rafael is an excellent teacher. Compared to other coaches I have been with, he has taught much more than the others much quicker while also being patient, regardless of your skill.

Rafael has been a great coach for my daughter. In just a few sessions she has been able to hit forehands and backhands and he has made it fun for her to learn.
