Spencer is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable coach, but what really sets him apart is how fun and personable he is. He strikes the perfect balance between pushing you to be the best tennis player you can be and genuinely being a friend in the process. He always created productive, focused practice environments, and in matches he had an exceptional ability to know exactly what to say to keep me locked in. That comes from his deep understanding of the game — reading match situations, making smart adjustments, and communicating strategy clearly even in high-pressure moments. He can do that so well because he truly invests in his players and builds real relationships. Spencer helped take my game to the next level through the perfect mix of guidance, honest critique, and friendship. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

Spencer was an outstanding tennis coach throughout my high school career. His coaching helped me make it to state my senior year, and he was equally strong at developing players for both singles and doubles. He’s knowledgeable, motivating, and truly cares about his athletes’ growth on and off the court. I’m grateful for everything I learned from him and would highly recommend him as a coach.

Spencer was my coach all throughout middle school and high school. I would recommend him to anyone. He was a very good teacher and taught me almost all of the skills I know. He was not only very knowledgeable but caring and supportive. He helped with the stress that comes with tennis and made things feel more lighthearted. Overall, he pushed me to be the best player I could be!

Spencer is an excellent tennis coach! Each of his lessons were extremely helpful and he specifically tailored each lesson to a goal I was working towards. I started with basic knowledge and made much progress throughout my lessons. He was very patient and found ways to make lessons exciting! I always looked forward to going to my tennis lessons.
